Participate in the annual Veteran's Day remembrance ceremony at the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Made a special presentation to honor our fallen heroes.

AUSA Chapter was invited to meet with the National Guard Association of DE Exec Council to discuss future partnering opportunities. Discussed regular dialogue, cosponsoring resolutions, sharing speaker information and inviting our chapter to the annual Senior Leader call.

DE National Guard hosted an "Retiree Expo", inviting all ARNG, USAR and ANG retirees. Representatives attended from the Retiree office at Dover AFB, Social Security, and the DNG retirement and transition assistance offices. I had an information table set up for our Chapter.

Met with the Director of Online Education at Wilmington University about co-sponsoring a "Our Community Salutes" event in May 2012. They agreed to cosponsor and host the event on May 2, 2012 at their conference center in New Castle, DE.

Invited to attend Delaware National Guard Senior Leader call. Our Chapter had a table in the lobby and I spoke to Asst AG about speaking at our upcoming 'Our Community Salutes' event in May.

Met with State Senator Bethany Hall-Long and her office manager about participating in our upcoming 'Our Community Salutes' event. She will get the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee to issue a Certificate of Appreciation signed by their members for presentation at our event.

AUSA was one of the presenters at the First State Chapter US Army Warrant Officer Association Annual Installation and Recognition Luncheon in Dover, DE. BG Wiley spoke to the group about the value of belonging to more than one professional organization, and awarded a one year AUSA membership to one of the new Warrant Officers

We were invited to the Baltimore Recruiting Battalion Accession Zone Partnership Synchronization Seminar, held this year in Dover, DE. I addressed the attendees AUSA membership and promoted the "Our Community Salutes" event we are co-hosting in May.

Met with Major Carter and staff about AUSA membership and the ROTC 2012 Spring Award ceremony in May. COL Hyland will present an AUSA award on behalf of the Chapter.

Was invited to make a presentation at the State Veterans Commission. I outlined our plans to build the Chapter and briefed our efforts to conduct an "Our Community Salutes" event with Wilmington University.
Executive Council Meetings were conducted on 16 January. 21 February, and 2 April 2012.
The next meeting is scheduled for Noon, 21 May at the Crossroads Restaurant. Minutes are available upon request.
