Description
The AZ Territorial Chapter will conduct the annual "Task Force Smith" Golf Tournament on Friday, 25 March 2016 at the Luke Air Force Base Falcon Dunes Golf Course, Glendale, AZ.  Players will be limited to 90 and reservations will be accepted in the order in which they are received.  Purpose of the event will be to: honor BG Charles "Brad" Smith, a distinguished Army officer of Korean War fame; raise funds to support soldiers, their families, vets and ROTC/JROTC cadets; sponsor an event that enhances the image of the U.S. Army and AUSA; provide AUSA members and guests a day of fun and camaraderie, plus great golf.  Registration will begin at 0630.  Tee off at 0800, shotgun scramble.  Prizes: $10,000 for hole in one. Awards for designated winning foursomes, plus prizes for both men and women for closest to the pin, longest drive and closest to the centerline on designated holes.  Fees:  $100/person includes round of golf, cart, range balls and lunch.  $500 for a foursome includes hole sponsorship.   AUSA will donate $10.00 of each registration fee to fund soldier/family/ROTC/veterans' programs.  Sponsor signs are $125 per tee box or green and includes appropriate signage designating name of sponsor or company name and recognition in the tournament program.  Great prizes will be available for the drawing which will be held while waiting for tournament results.  Mulligans will be for sale plus the fabulous "Magic Ball"!  Contact Ray Boucher at (602) 993-6867 or email to 8rboucher@gmail.com.
