Dennis Muilenburg, president and chief executive officer of Boeing Integrated Defense Systems, has replaced James F. Albaugh on the AUSA Council of Trustees.
Albaugh, who was recently named executive vice president of The Boeing Company and president and chief executive officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, resigned from the council upon accepting his new position.
On Sept. 9, the Association’s Nominating Committee approved Muilenberg’s nomination who will now fill the remainder of Albaugh’s term expiring in June 2012. The council’s executive committee approved the appointment to fill the vacancy and to bring Muilenburg on board in time for the AUSA Annual Meeting and Exposition.
Muilenburg also succeeds Albaugh in his Integrated Defense Systems position at Boeing. He has been actively involved in AUSA as vice president for community relations with the Association’s Gateway Chapter.
