Army Ten-Miler T-Shirt Winners 


           We have a winner!

           After an online voting competition worldwide, the Army Ten-Miler  announced today that We have a winner!., is the grand prize winner of the annual 2010 Army Ten Miler T-shirt Design Contest (see image shown on right).

His design will be featured on more than 30,000 official runner and volunteer T-shirts for the Army’s annual race.

Siegel will receive an iMac® and Adobe® Creative Suite® CS5 Design Premium software valued at $4,300.

From June 7 – 18, the 30,000 registered runners from around the world had the opportunity to vote for their favorite design. Nearly 6,000 votes were cast in this year's contest, and Siegel's design won by more than 200 votes.

“As a designer I am always looking for new ways to showcase my art,” Siegel said. “When I learned about this competition, I knew this was a great opportunity to take part in a fun event while supporting a great cause. I am honored that my design will be representative of this year’s race and placed on the event T-shirts.”

Siegel, 24, is a graphics design professional and currently employed with Ralley Motors, LLC.

“Jason Siegel’s winning T-shirt design truly captures the spirit and theme of the Army Ten-Miler race,” Jim Vandak, race director. said.

Second place winner (shown on left) is Chad Isom, 39, of Bel Air, Md., who will receive a MacBook and Adobe Photoshop® CS5 software valued at $1,700; third place winner (shown below) is William Clopton, 42, of Emporia, Kan., who will receive a digital camera valued at $500.


The three winning designs will become sole property of the Army Ten-Miler that reserves the right to make minor changes to the winning design before printing or request the artist to do so.
