Institute of World Politics holds open house

The Institute of World Politics, an independent, regionally accredited, and military-friendly graduate school of national security, intelligence, and international affairs in downtown Washington, cordially invites DC-based AUSA members to attend its next Open House program from 5:30  to 8 p.m. Feb. 18

Open House provides a comprehensive, informal opportunity to learn more about IWP’s programs, meet its faculty of scholar-practitioners, and enjoy light refreshment with staff, students, and alumni.  Applications are being considered now for summer enrollments.

IWP offers 53 graduate level courses, eight graduate certificate programs, and three M.A. programs.  IWP is located in the Marlatt Mansion at 1521 16th Street NW.  On and off street parking are available nearby.  Metro riders will want to take the red line to Dupont Circle.  IWP is located three blocks east of Dupont Circle, off of P Street NW.  The closest landmark is Foundry Methodist Church, across the street.

Reservations are strongly encouraged and may be made to or by calling 202-462-2101, ext. 319.  Participants can also register online by visiting and following the Open House prompts.  It is recommended (but not required) that attendees bring unofficial resumes and/or transcripts with them.  This is strictly optional but has proved to be helpful in the past by others who attended the program.

If assistance or information is sought beforehand, please contact Linda Strating, Director of Student Recruitment (Professionals) at  IWP is a corporate member of AUSA.
