07 May 08 - Monthly Chapter Executive Meeting locatioed at Barclay’s Restaurant which is inside the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites at 943 J.Clyde Morris Blvd. The Holiday Inn is directly across the street from the Point Plaza Hotel & Suites.
The buffet is $9.97 per person which includes tax and will consist of the following: Salad bar with Dressings Chef’s Choice of Vegetable Assorted Pastas and Sauces Warm Rolls and Butter Coffee and Tea on the Tables.

2008 Industry Day:
To all Military and DoD Members It’s my pleasure to invite you to the Association of the United States Army, Virginia Peninsula-General Douglas MacArthur Chapter’s 26th annual Industry Day, to be held June 3-5, 2008. This year’s Industry Day Theme is “Commitment to America’s Best: The American Soldier.” Conference events will be held at the Omni Hotel, Newport News, Virginia, concluding with our popular Industry Day Golf Tournament at the Williamsburg Country Club. Registration at the Omni Hotel will be from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM on Tuesday, June 5, followed by a welcome reception from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Reception invitees include leaders from US Joint Forces Command (JFCOM), US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Fort Monroe, Fort Eustis, and Fort Story, and key local government officials and industry representatives. Uniform is Duty.
The evening program will being at 6:30 PM with a reception at the Omni Hotel. Our Annual Industry Day Dinner and Awards Program follows, and will feature guest speaker GEN Scott Wallace, Commanding General, Training and Doctrine Command. Uniform is Class “A” military, business suit for civilians. Industry Day concludes with a golf tournament on Thursday, June 5th, at the Williamsburg Country Club. We expect a maximum field, so please sign up early. We hope that you can join us for this conference.
