Industrial Associates Program

The GLAC Industrial Associates was formed in 1960 to provide an opportunity for Los Angeles corporate executives to meet with senior Army leaders to discuss ways in which AUSA could help build a base of support for the Army in the greater Los Angeles community. Another objective was to create a forum for the corporate leaders to meet with senior Army leadership in an informal and off-the-record environment.

Membership is $2500 per year and permits each company to send two people to the Industrial Associates dinners. It also entitles them to purchase seats at City Tavern. The dues cover their contributions to the Omar Bradley Scholarship fund.

The Industrial Associates dinners have a high-ranking military or DoD civilian (i.e., Secretary of the Army) as guest speaker. The talks are always off the record and usually very informative. The City Tavern dinner takes place on the Tuesday of the Annual AUSA National Meeting in October every year in Washington, D.C. and attracts the top Army leadership.
