November 2008 - On November 5, 2008 the Mid-Missouri/Fort Leonard Wood chapter of AUSA sponsored 14 Soldiers and 3 family members from the Warrior Transition Unit to a dinner at Stefano's restaurant in St. Robert, MO. Several leaders from the Community shared this evening with the soldiers and their families.
August 2008 - On 3 September the Mid-Missouri/Fort Leonard Wood Chapter of AUSA sponsored 14 Soldiers and their family members from the Warrior Transition Unit to a great Dinner at Matt’s Steakhouse in Rolla, Missouri. There were fifteen leaders from the Community that shared the evening with these great Soldiers and their families.
May 2008 - Wounded Warrior Fund made a contribution to SGT Jared Rincker in the amount of $500.
August 2006 - Benefit Car Wash for wounded 94th Engineer Battalion Soldier, SPC Eric Schei. Over $9000 was raised plus Wal-Mart has agreed to match. Event held from 0800 to 1600 on Saturday, August 19 in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Free donuts, hot dogs and hamburgers provided and donated by AUSA corporate members. Money raised will be deposited in the FLW chapter's wounded soldier fund and be presented to the 94th En Bn at our Chapter's membership picnic at FLW on 7 September.
Annual General Membership/Family Picnic and BBQ at MP Stem Village. Attended by FLW Leadership and over 300 active, corporate, retired and family members. A check for over $13,000 was presented to the family of a 94th Engineer Battalion soldier that was seriously injured in Iraq. The money was raised from an AUSA-sponsored benefit car wash. A membership table was manned to explain the benefits of membership to any of those in attendance that were not already members. Door prizes were donated by corporate members.
