October 2008: President received a donation for the Fisher House (through AUSA) for $20,000 from R4, Inc. This was significant (outside of the fact this was an enormous amount of money) because of the coordination of securing a Washington DC Fisher House representative to attend and receive the check, make a speech. Chapter had previously selected the Fisher House as the official charity of the Chapter. This was a great springboard for this endeavor. President and Vice President and three other Board Members attended the ceremony.
