Picatinney Arsenal Chapter (Dover, NJ) 

March 2010 - Chapter donated $1500 to the International Brain Research Foundation in the names of the 3 service members, SPC Bradley Thomas, SSGT Scott Noss and PO2 Anthony Thompson, at the Kessler Institute.  This donation will help pay for the new Protocol Treatment that these service members are receiving and not covered by Tri Care. All 3 service members are currently patients at the Kessler Institute.


March 2010 - Louise Bonnett, Chapter President, presented a donation of $1,500 to Dr. Phillip DeFina, CEO of the International Brain Research Foundation for continued research and treatment of wounded warfighters with severe traumatic brain injuries.


September 20/09 - Donated $700 to assist wounded service member so he could pay his utility bills.


June 2009:  The Chapter purchased 10 granite headstones in support of the Arsenals NJ Fallen Heroes Program.  The Arsenal with co-sponsorship from local organization like AUSA, NDIA, VFW and American Legions has planted trees in memory of the 120 fallen heroes from NJ. This headstone will be placed in front of each tree as a memorial to that hero.


April 2009 - AUSA joined with an organization called "Hug from Home" in a 2 week event of collecting items for deployed service members. Plastic tubes were given out to various people/organizations to fill and return to the Chapter.  Over 600 of these tubes were filled and returned to the Chapter for shipping. Tubes were filled by corporate members, schools, and individuals. Twenty boxes of this tube were mailed out to the troops.


April 2009

Chapter shipped over 50 care packages to deployed service members.  Pkgs included personal items, snacks, pens, paper, envelopes, candy and gum to name a few of the items.
