October 2009 - Board executives approved $1050 for 2 busses to transport wounded warriors and their families to dinner in MD.


May 2009  - The GW Chapter donated $5,000 to Segways4Vets organization to purchase a Segway for a wounded warrior amputee.

March 2009  - Made a $5,000 donation to the Pentagon Federal Credit Union Foundation for their annual Night of Heroes gala.

March 2009 - The George Washington Chapter of the AUSA hosted a Mexican buffet and arcade entertainment at Dave and Busters (Bethesda) for 60 soldiers from Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

March 2009  - On behalf of the GW AUSA chapter, we hosted a function for the Wounded Warriors from Walter Reed at Dave and Busters.  70 Wounded Warriors and their family members attended.  Dinner and game cards were provided to all.
