Monday, April 27: A Centennial Salute to the American Red Cross

Walter Reed gratefully recognizes the American Red Cross for its 100 years of service and thousands of volunteers whom the Medical Center could not do without.

Tuesday, April 28: Centennial Fun Run & Walk

An early morning 2-mile run and walk through 100 years of history offers an up-close view of today’s Walter Reed.

Start Line: Parade Field, Heaton Pavilion (inside Walter Reed Installation)

Wednesday, April 29: Centennial History Symposium

Aspects of Walter Reed— the man, the clinical accomplishments, the Medical Center and its impact on military medicine—are brought to light through the papers of medical historians and academics.

Where: Walter Reed Vorder Bruegge Auditorium, Old Hospital (Bldg 1)

Friday, May 1: Centennial Ceremony

Commemorating the legacy of excellence to the thousands of heroes treated throughout its honored past, Walter Reed Army Medical Center officially marks its centennial year of service to our country.

Friday, May 1: Centennial Ball

A grand celebration of music, dinner and dancing to top off the ceremonial week of festivities.
